Our Team

Nick Floyd-Scott, CPA

As a native of Louisville, KY, Nick attended the University of Louisville where he majored in accounting and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, Class of 1977. Go Cards! He moved to Cincinnati after graduation to work for Arthur Andersen & Co., one of the original Big Eight accounting firms. In 1979, he transitioned to the audit staff of E. W. Scripps Co., a national multimedia corporation. In 1982 he began working with several small businesses as an independent advisor. After ten years of honing valuable experience at these institutions, he developed his practical work experience in tax, accounting and advisory work. In 1987, he started this CPA firm to concentrate full time on his own clients. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He has served on the Board of Directors of the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) and as President of the Cincinnati chapter of the OSCPA.

Amanda McNeil, AFSP, Senior Accountant
Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Kentucky University, Class of 2001, as well as an Associate of Science Degree in Accounting from Cincinnati State University, Class of 1997. She worked part-time in accounting from 1995 until graduation and has nearly twenty years of practical, small business experience and tax preparation skills. Her past accounting experience includes work for Washington Limousine Service, Great American Insurance, Directions Research, and ZLB Plasma Services. Since November of 2004, she has offered her expertise to FSCPA through planning and compliance, accounting, bookkeeping for business clients, payroll, and assistance in the preparation of financial statements, etc. In 2015 she also became a Notary Public in Ohio. She is married and has two sons, one attending Miami University and the other attending Oak Hills High School. She is active in her church and in her younger son’s sports activities.

Janet Floyd-Scott, Office Manager

Janet received her MBA from the University of Cincinnati in 1983, majoring in Management. She graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1978 from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Radio-Television. After graduating from Purdue she served as Director of Public Relations and Safety for the Cincinnati Automobile Club (AAA).
Upon completion of her MBA, Janet worked for over 20 years for the Western Southern Financial Group. Her expertise lies in project planning, project management, and corporate communications. Since 2008, she has kept our office at FSCPA running in an efficient manner and welcomes our clients with professional aplomb.

Amanda Hazlett, CPA, Staff Accountant
Amanda attended the University of Cincinnati for both undergraduate and graduate studies. She graduated in 2001 with a Master of Science in Business Administration degree with a focus in Tax. While working in public accounting, she earned her CPA License. She has worked with large and small private companies while gaining a variety of experiences in unique industries. She has been assisting with accounting and tax clients at our firm since September 2020. She enjoys being active and slows down to enjoy nature. Photography is one of her favorite ways to spend her time away from the office.

1 State filing e-filing at no extra charge.

Business Tax Return Preparation:
Prices begin at $700 for a business, Trust or Not for Profit entity.

Trust/Estate tax return (1041):
$700 starting price

Non-Profit tax return (990 serries):
$700 Starting price

Bookkeeping, Bank Reconciliation:
$250 per hour.

Payroll Processing:
$25 per paycheck.

Payroll Quarterly Returns:
$250 per Quarter.

Preparation of 1099's and W-2 Forms:
$35 per Form [1099 or W-2].

Sales Tax Returns:
$70-$75 per each return.
